TCG Wins PRISM & HSMAI Awards for Best Multicultural Campaign in Travel

The Culturist Group was awarded the 2023 PRSA Los Angeles PRISM Award for “Best Multicultural Communications Campaign” in the Travel/Tourism and Hospitality category for our work with Destination NSW to promote Sydney WorldPride 2023 in the U.S.


The campaign also won a coveted HSMAI Adrian Award (Bronze) in the P.R./Communications in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion category,


The Culturist Group's Danny Guerrero and Kimberli Samuel at the 2023 Prism Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 26th.


A program of inclusive storytelling and media and creator visits delivered $26.8M AUD AVE in earned coverage and combined with a range of conversion-driving partnerships activity, contributed to 50% of global visitation to Sydney for WorldPride 2023 coming from the U.S.

We are proud of our team, our Multicultural Marketing Communications Lead Kimberli Samuel (pictured), and Social Media Lead for the project Hannah Khan for their partnership on this campaign, as well as all of the #LGBTQ+ media, and creator partners who leaned into telling their stories centered around "partying with a purpose."



Especially significant is receiving this award in what is the most diverse of all Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) chapters in the country, receiving it in our hometown of Los Angeles - and among a group of peers from some of the most esteemed organizations and brands, no less!
